The film Gone With the Wind was released 70 years ago today. It went on to win 10 Academy Awards — a record it held for 20 years — and it still holds the record for top-grossing US film when adjusted for inflation.
But the film would not be considered one of the best of all time if it were not for the characters and writers — or even its amazing set design.
