Here's your first look at Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele for the Fifty Shades of Grey movie. Entertainment Weekly has released the first shots of the two actors in character on the cover, showing Jamie with that copper hair, holding a gray tie, and looking every inch the smoldering Mr. Grey. Dakota looks perfectly in character as well, with short brown hair, blunt bangs, and an innocent look. There are a couple of other provocative shots of the actors from the shoot as well.
In an accompanying interview with the magazine, Jamie opens up about the first time that he learned that he would replace Charlie Hunnam as Christian in the film: "I was sort of pretending I wasn't waiting, but the phone was in my hand halfway to my ear," the actor said, saying he got the call at 1:30 a.m. while he was watching reruns of Storage Wars on TV. Jamie also went on to say that he is "a fairly liberal guy" so he wasn't shocked by the sex scenes in the erotic novel. Meanwhile, Dakota reveals that she "wants to look good naked" and has been working out in anticipation of her upcoming nude scenes.

The much-anticipated film is now set to hit theaters on Feb. 13, 2015, instead of the initial scheduled date of Aug. 1, 2014. This announcement comes after the film's casting setbacks and the producers' decision to delay production until Dec. 2.

Jamie Dornan is the new Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, and if you're wondering if Dornan is a better fit for the character than the previous actor who had the role, Charlie Hunnam, just read on. Here's how Dornan stacks up to the Christian Grey of the book, including his looks, age, and where he's from.
Dornan is 31 years old, and in the book, Christian is 27. That's a little closer to his age than Charlie Hunnam, who is older than Christian by five years at 33.
Dornan is a pretty close physical match for how Christian's described; Christian is tall and muscular, and Dornan is 6' tall and as definitely fit (just look at this). Christian has copper hair and grey eyes, and Dornan has brown hair that could be considered copper, and blue eyes (Hunnam also has blue eyes but has blond hair, of course).
Chrsitian Grey is an American, originally from Detroit, while Dornan hails from Northern Ireland. Hope he's working on his American accent!
