TSA Agent Finds Sex Toy in Luggage
TSA Agent Finds Packed Sex Toy, Writes Gross Sexual Note
Blogger Jill Filipovic discovered a sexual note from a TSA agent in her luggage after the agent came across a vibrator in her bag. She tweeted the image of the note that said "get your freak on girl," saying, "Just unpacked my suitcase and found this note from TSA. Guess they discovered a 'personal item' in my bag. Wow."
While at first Jill thought the note was funny, she still calls it "wildly inappropriate" and plans on filing a complaint with the TSA. She said, "I hope they do see the complaint, they'll look into it and remind their staff that going through people's personal belongings is a responsibility that should be treated with some modicum of professionalism."
Best case scenario it was a fellow female agent reassuring the passenger to not be embarrassed about traveling with a sex toy, but more likely it's something much more ick-inducing. What would you do if that happened to you? Do you think it's funny or a serious violation of privacy? Read the note below.

Post a CommentI would feel pretty violated; not so much without the handwritten part of the note, although I'm not entirely sure why.
I would be horrified if that was me. I understand that the TSA needs to be able to search bags for security reasons, but commenting on the contents of someone's bag is ridiculous...
Oh my God that is horrifying! TSA has the right to search your stuff but its not their job to judge a person by the items they carry. I say definitely file the complaint. Yes, it is funny, but wow does cross a line of professionalism and ethics.
That's inappropriate what they did.
Is this even possible? I mean....isn't the agent checking your things right in front of you? So when would they have time to write a note and stick it in your bag if you're right there, without you noticing? not sure I believe this story.
@Steph, before your checked bags go on the plane, they are randomly inspected. I've had my bags turn up with that TSA paper notifying that my bags were searched. I already felt weird that someone was rifling through my underwear and bras. I can't imagine if someone wrote a message directed at me about the contents of my luggage.
