Pippa Middleton Mania

::yawn:: the media (and maybe lots of people I don't know) are obsessed with her, but I feel like enough is enough. I couldn't care less what she's wearing/who she's dating.

I don't mean to be mean, I have nothing against her, and I actually looked through these hoping to understand the Pippa-sensation...I guess I'm just missing it

I wouldn't even know who she was if it wasn't for TresSugar. YOU guys are crazy about her, not us.

Oh man, you guys! I just love Pippa. She's so pretty...and mysterious. Maybe it's the little sister in me. But I am fascinated by her :)

Aside from wearing a flattering dress at the wedding, I don't see what's so special about her. I can understand her sister because of her new position, but Pippa does nothing that is out of the ordinary.

I feel kind of sorry for her. She’s famous for being an attractive relative of someone famous for who she married. Now she’s watched wherever she goes, people comment on anything she does, how she looks, who she sees – her every day life is the only product or creation her legion of fans can judge her on. Kind of a famous nobody.

Pippa is cool. A mysterious girl brought to the limelight through some haphazard fate in life. She is different that she gained instant fame, and recognition in this fashion. I like her because she will always have a modest childhood, a decent education, and a life behind her to account for the new challenges ahead. I think she handles herself with dignity in the newfound fame. Its refreshing.

Modest childhood? From articles I've read, her parents company is worth millions of dollars and their grandfather left the family millions of dollars in a will. A lot of it/the majority of it was self-made, which is great, and I'm not chastising them in any way because it's admirable how the Middleton's grew their business, but if that's growing up modest, then I shudder to think what's considered growing up poor.
