Instagram Proposal

Would You Accept an Instagram Proposal?

Proposals just aren't what they used to be. GIFs, Skype — what's next: Instagram? Oh, wait . . . To use a phrase that will date myself, been there, done that. Neil Parris proposed to his girlfriend, Jenna Caine, using the photo-sharing social media site, and it's pretty darn adorable.

Neil created the Instagram account @thestoryofjennaandneil to show the progression of their love story, from their fateful meeting at Coachella to an image that read, "Will you . . . " that he showed her right before getting down on one knee. Yes, he was there in person while she scrolled through the photos, and there were even rose petals and candles involved — so this isn't a completely computer-generated event. Plus, the mix of screenshots of their Facebook messages, vintage photos of their parents, and snaps of their most memorable moments makes for a pretty sentimental project that they can share with loved ones and look over for years to come.

Are you digging the tech-savvy proposal idea, or are you more of a traditional gal when it comes to popping the question? Weigh in below!
