i know a super sporty guy who has ones similar to the ones in the pic and they're made by a known and expensive athletic clothing brand and he can totally pull them off

I have a german friend who wears these all the time. Maybe it is a european thing, his are tighter then this guys.

I'm with you LaurenG22, the only men I've ever seen in these are Europeans (Dutch guys when I was in Aruba). they still look silly to me.

I dont like them on women, so I wouldnt like them on men.

I think they look good on yogis and climbers with nice bodies doing their thing.

The right guy might be able to pull off a sporty manpris look, but I can't imagine them on someone like my boyfriend, haha.

They're a terrible idea for women (they make your legs look fat) and a terrible idea on men. Why not go shorts or pants? We do NOT need capris. Ever.

The only men I've seen successfully pull off manpris are super buff with sexy calf muscles. On most men they just look stupid. I'm not totally opposed to capris on women, though. For those of us who work in more casual (but not beach casual) environments, capris can be cute in the summer since shorts and work definitely don't mix.

My husband is French and IMHO he can totally pull them off. He doesn't wear them like out to eat, but it's very cute when we are at the beach, relaxing in the evening, or out sailing- it's a cute casual look on him.

I like capris, especially for myself. I am tall and anything to make me look shorter is a win! Manpris are alright if they are on the type of guy that is earthy or European. Light and flowly fabrics I think are best for that and only worn to casual places like cmd said!

Their OK. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy a pair for my bf or anything, but I don't think they look bad.

Capris are my comfortable alternative option to long jeans vs short shorts in the summer...and why would a guy need capris?? Guy shorts are already long and roomy!

i hear ya!! Manpris.. Capris! No way!! I think its a reason for people to wear their pants longer after it have shortened.

I personally don't like them for men. However, one of my ex's wears them. He moved to Spain and his fashion sense is really "out there". He used to model at one point after we went out then he moved to Europe. I am assuming that that is how they dress where he is living.

If manpris will make my husband's body look like the guy in the picture, I am all for them

They've been wearing them in Europe and Asia for years! They call them three quarter pants.

I've seen this on arab men... and this is always accompanied by the flip flops, which should be illegal for men to wear. i have such a pet peeve.
