This is one brave, shameless, and insecurely unattached man. Since April he's been counting down 101 uses for his ex-wife's wedding dress, and documenting it on My Ex-Wife's Wedding Dress.

What is a resented wedding dress good for? Flossing, obviously. Add a colander, scarecrow, and tablecloth to that list. Yes, it's got terrible blog-to-book appeal, but he's not that bad-looking. Maybe he'll land his next ex?

My immediate reaction to seeing this site (which was a link posted from a men's website by a man who claimed he had no bitterness about his ex wife, then blew it by linking) was "I hope he doesn't have any kids, as this is a clear sign of abuse toward his children, let alone the ex wife".

I think the guy is an idiot with huge anger issues. The wife explained that the dress was for their daughter now 9 yrs old. This guy thinks hes clever and funny but he comes across as bitter, angry and childish. Ugh.

I'm sure he's just doing this for the sheer humor of it, but it makes me feel like this is one of those guys that you'd go on a date with and he wouldn't shutup about what a bitch his ex is.

This site is actually pretty funny now that I'm looking at it. Jump rope may be my favorite... but pasta strainer comes in close because I love pasta.

I worded that poorly, sorry. What I mean is: Shayna Tres features you blogs sometimes and I've read them and respect you. But every single comment? It's almost like you're saying, 'I care about this issue to the extent with which I can use it to promote myself.' I'm sure you're garnering plenty of traffic so mission accomplished, I just think you're overkilling it a bit and I think your comments are intelligent enough to stand on their own without your blog to back them up.

i don't know, it sounds like it was a pretty bad divorce and it would probably be better if he just moved on (gave the dress to goodwill or something), but to each his own. shayna: there's no shame in letting people know about your blog! (sn: my blog is http://pinkpopmash.blogspot.com)

I guess it could be cathartic, but it seems pretty spiteful, which is a waste of energy when your ex-wife gave you the wedding dress.
