You'll Be a Puddle of Tears Over This 100-Year-Old Woman's Sweet Love Story
You can't help but get emotional as 100-year-old Shirley talks about her late husband, Moe, gushing over what it was like to fall in love before tearing up as she talks about losing him. In a video made by Brandon Stanton of Humans of New York, she sweetly describes her early days with Moe, saying, "We danced, and he had very good rhythm. It was always nice to have his arms around me." Shirley moves through her living room to show the pictures she sent him while he was at war overseas, then reads some of the love letters they sent to each other. Later, she starts crying as she recalls the moment she realized Moe was dying. When she asked him how she'd go on without him, she says that Moe gave her the most beautiful response: "Take the love you have for me and spread it around. In love spread around, there beauty is found." Meet Shirley in the moving video below.
