I adore the Alice in Wonderland ones. Gorgeous! The Breakfast at Tiffany's photos are a little cheesy, and they don't really feel like engagement photos.
i love the idea of this. yes, some a super cheesey, but i think they are way more creative than the typical shots of you and fiance in a park, wearing jeans, walking your dog.
These are amazing! I don't think I'll do a movie-inspired engagement shoot whenever I get engaged, but this post has inspired me to do something other than traditional shots.
i agree with nylorac. the breakfast at tiffany's and notebook ones were super cheesy. the up and alice ones were awesome!
and atonement? that's just weird.

The best ones were the pictures that didn't obviously refer to the movie/book they were inspired by (so, Up, Alice and Wonderland). I'm sorry some of them are a little too over-the-top and weird for my taste, especially the Breakfast at Tiffany's bit...
I understand if you like certain styles of dress and the ambiance created by various movies/novels... but to mirror exact scenes for your own engagement pictures are unoriginal, and slightly frightening.
Bored, I agree; Atonement seems like something you want to distance yourself from. Of course, the same could be said for my engagement photo shoot based on the brilliant film Funny Farm, starring Chevy Chase.
I thought the pictures were lovely. Atonement struck me as a odd choice; I can see the draw in the evening dress/1930's look, but a weird story to connect with an engagement.
