Do Tell: Have You Had an Embarrassing Moment at the Gyno?

Even at its best, a trip to the gynecologist is usually pretty uncomfortable and can be down right awkward. Since going to a doctor’s appointment already makes most of us feel vulnerable, being naked in front of a doctor only makes things even more nerve-wracking. Anxiety, discomfort, nudity, and discussing sex and birth control are just about the perfect equation for an embarrassing moment to arise. So ladies, do tell, have you ever had an embarrassing mishap at the gyno?

So I had this problem with excessive pain from sex so I went to the gyno. So what I could live, m physician said it wasnt major it just needed to be cared for even though it may hurt a little. He rquested me to a gyneocologian surgeon. I hadnt read about this place at all so i didnt know i could request a doctor of my same sex so I got a male and worse He was Hot and i mean HOT. Anyway I will start from the beginning. So I walk into the waiting room and check in. The front office man says that there is a doctor ready for me. So he brought me to room like 2B or something. Then he left. Now he said he was studying under the gyneocologists at my doctors office so he had the doctor he was studiing under come in too. both men MALE AND HOT. Anyway, so they layed me down on the exam table and then left and told me to undress. The room was already freezing with my jackett and thick jeans on so I didnt want to take them off, but anyway. So I did. And then I was sitting their naked waiting with no cover up or anything. This room was not set up for a gyno exam I could already tell so I didnt know what to expect. I was waiting so long I decided to put my clothes on, but just as I walked over the men came back in. The younger man put a tool in my vagina holding it wide open. then They then told me to follow them as they lead me out into a private room set up for this kind of exam, little did I know this ment walking right through the public waiting room where everyone still had their clothes on and the doors looking out into the rest of the busy hospital were glass and out into the even colder hospital down the elevators with others (MALES) and out into the main check in place for the whole hospital and then waling through the back and into, finnally, a private room. I was humiliated, but not wanting to make a scene I followed the doctors while males escorting their girlfriends and wifes to the doctors began to laugh not metioning the other doctors male and female around me. When we got into the room I asked the doctor " do you know how humiliating that is" Then the older doctor replied " we would have taken you through the back into this room but then we would have to have gone outside the hospital into the public. But all the walls in the hospital were glass so i didnt really see the difference except for the fact that it was snowing outside. Then the older man bent down and pushed this air thing up my sex hole and told me to lay down on the exam table. I did and he hooked me onto these metal things and then he told me to lay back. I did and then the younger HOT guy did a full breast exam but he pushed down so hard I screamed in tears and so the older man would stop him and do a full breast exam on me and then let the younger man finish. The younger man didnt listen and so I ended up getting literally6 breast exams. Then the older man bent down and called another nurse in ( finnally female) but all she did was write down notes as the older man did a seventh breast exam on me. Then they all moved down to my crotch area and the younger man started pumping air into this thing almost like a blood pressure measurer. I screamed in agony but he kept pushing on this air pump. It was so painfull. And it was stretching my vagina to the max. I kept screaming and finally the man stopped pressing on this pump, but he didnt bother to take the pain away by taking it out or deflating it, instead he said, eack time you give us a hard time another squeeze goes into this. Understand? I nodded yes and then the men continued silently. They brought out machiene after machiene that streched my vagina even more. Then the younger man violently pushed his finger all the way up my a**. Then he stuck this shot thing almost that was like 3in in diameter then he pushed it up my gentails straight up into my vaginal area. Then the nurse gave him a bag to show 4 more shots like that and he used them all and they were huge. Then he asked me ( finnally though it was rude for him to go this far without my consent) well no he told me that my vaginal opening was filled with puss and because of how painfull the air had been for me before he inflated the air more he wanted to know if i wanted anestishia. I said yes immediataly ( big mistake) . So he took me ( an only the younger doctor) back out into the hospital this time with a sheet covering my breasts but still with machienies beging pushed besides me and my vagina fully exposed. ANyway so this place was all the way across the hospital but on the way bac I was swarmed by male strangers trying to take pictures, and my one doc couldnt fight them all off. WOrse this made the 2 minute walk a 12 minute embarrasment instead. So after I went to the anesthetics I couldnt see anything cause I fell asleep but I asked to have this video taped. Ill tell about that in a horror story but I got a comment on my facebook page with a video of te whole incident EMBARRASING!!!

well i had 2 go 2 a new doc 4 the 1st time and when i got there a male nurse called me back and had me take off all my clothes and didnt even give me a gown!!!!!! then he wieghed and measured me then he had me get in the gyno chair and stuck a cathader up my butt so i wouldnt contaminate my pee then he stuck a thermometer up my butt in both holes!!! rectum and vagina!!!! then he put clamps on my nipples then the doc came in and took the clamps off and shaved every part of my body then he took the thermometer out and it had poop on it so he gave me an enema!! then he poked my boobys and gave me shots in the nipples!!! then gave me a shot that went up my rectum and in my bladder to help the pain of the enema!!!!! NEEDLESS TO SAY I NEVER WENT TO HIM AGAIN1!!! this is a true story

Like skypoem... my last gyno was fit and hot. I made sure I had REGULAR check-ups! I always wonder if he knows how wet I am.

Okay, here's one from one of the guys. My fiance recently had his annual head-to-toe once over with his lady doc and when it was time for him to drop his shorts for the intimate bit she actually complimented him on his "down-there" grooming habits (he regularly trims his pubes and shaves both the shaft of his penis and his scrotum)! Imagine that?!

My gyno (he's also my PCP) is freakin' handsome ~ I'm always "wet" around the time I have an appointment .. knowing I'm going to get touched there by him!! Him also being my PCP, sometimes I want to create a body/health issue and come up with a reason to go see him =P

I had a gynecologist where his wife was also the nurse. They were very nice and made you feel really at ease with their easy chit chat when you were lying on the table. One time, the doctor applied the lubricant then put the clamp in to take a pap smear, and his wife said something that was really funny and we all started laughing and the clamp went flying out of me and hit the floor. I found that a little embarrassing. But at least I didn't have any stamps or glitter down there at the same time. :D

I only went once at 15, but he wouldn't check my private parts because I'm a virgin and the only thing that I needed were pills to regulate my periods. He was very funny, and since he's also my mom's gyno, he said "it's in time like these when I realize how old I am, when I'm seeing daughters of patients I helped giving birth to". That had me cracking.About the girl that asked her obgyn why did he became an obgyn, that's funny! I've always been curious to ask the same thing, but to a proctologist! x)

My very first exam was when I just started college and was with my family practitioner my entire family had been seeing for years. It was cold outside so I had a sweatshirt with my sorority letters on and I draped the sweatshirt over a chair when I changed into the gown. I was nervous of course and as she began the exam, she glanced over at my sweatshirt and said, "Aww. You're a XXXXXXX. So am I!!" I just laughed because that wasn't exactly what I expected for the ice breaker, but it worked. We then went on to share stories and before I knew it, it was over and I had a new found knowledge my doctor and I were sisters. My mother couldn't stop laughing after I told her.

My very first lady-exam was begin horrid to begin with because it was with our family Doc of many years. Smallish town so I went to school with his kids, etc.. So when he comes into the room he lets me know that he has a medical student and asked if it would be ok if the student observed the exam. I panicked and said it would be fine. The student comes in.. he is only like 5 years older than me and SMOKING SUPER HOT!!! Hot Guy took the reins and did the majority of the actual exam. OMG.. I think I blushed so badly that even the parts he was looking at were flushed. Awful!

I was at a birth control clinic to get my pap. The doctor asked me if it was ok that a student nurse be present during it. I said yes, turns out it was a lady that lived up the street from me whom I used to babysit for! Holy humiliating! She was also a pretty weird, creepy lady which made it worse.

I've never had anything like that. Mine asked me why I shaved and told me it's not healthy and you're supposed to have hair there or it wouldn't grow there in the first place. I wanted to yell that hair grows on our legs and under our arms and we shave that.

Three embarrassing moments with three different gynos (I don't think the first two were even actually gynos, just regular doctors at the Student Health Center):1. I used to be in a long-term relationship with this guy who was an ultra-conservative Christian, and we didn't have sex. I was on birth control to regulate my periods and also because I'd been sexually active before and started it, and just continued it for convenience's sake. Anyway, I go to get my annual, and the woman I saw asked if I was in a relationship. I told her yes, for two years, but we were not sexually active, and she responded, "Really?! That's weird!"2. I went to get my next annual and the doctor was examining me and she goes, "Hm! Your vaginal canal is really angled. But you probably knew that anyway, right? It makes it so hard to be on top!" Super awkward!3. Actually a good gyno, and I'm sad to be moving because she's so nice and I'll have to find a new one. I was starting depo-provera and had to get a brief checkup before they would start me on it, and she asked me if I was in a relationship and asked a few questions about my boyfriend. I started to tell her that we were long-distance and that we only see each other every few weeks, and after a few seconds I couldn't help it and I just started crying so hard. I was so embarrassed but she just gave me some tissues and told me not to worry, that everything would work out, and to relish the fact that I'd found love when some people would never know what it was like. Really embarrassing to cry like a baby in front of your gyno, haha, but she was great about it.

LOL @ the body glitter and stamps! :ROTFL: This is not that embarrassing, but kind of questionable. I think my gyno once made a sketchy comment about me downstairs. He said that it was much easier to work on me because I was skinny, and never given birth. He said that normally he deals with rolls of fat, and sagging muscles on the inside. I was taken back by that comment, to say the least. :o My friend told me he basically complimented me downstairs. :oops:
